5 Tips For Panic Attacks

1. Know Your Inner Self-Talk

Thoughts influence your body and mind. Especially, negative thoughts are very dangerous. If you deeply involve in negative thinking, you will suffer stress, anxiety and great pain.

So you should be aware of your inner 'self talk'. Observe how your mind reveals the thought flow. Don't involve with it. Just stant neutral as if you were watching traffic.

Initially, you will find it difficult to hear and bear the 'inner voice'. But you have to listen to the self-talk as if you were listening to some one else. This is a great practice to empty your negative thoughts which create panic attacks.

If you observe closely, you will understand that much of your self-talk is senseless and untrue. When you realize this, suddenly you will feel great relax. It's an important step in eliminating your panic attacks. So practice being neutral and observing your own thoughts every moment.

2. Be Optimistic

Examine your self-talk and try to be optimistic (if you can't stand neutral and bear the pain). Whenever your mind suggests a negative thought or emotion, ask yourself if you are jumping to negative conclusions. Try to find positive dimensions to look at the situation.

So swap your negative thought patterns with positive thought patterns.

3. Focus On Breathing

Always breathe like kids. When you suffer from panic attacks, you need to take slow and deeper breaths. So when you feel anxious or tense, shift your concentration onto your breathing. Then breathe slowly and deeply.

So deliberately take deep breaths from your diaphragm (abdomen). Breathe slowly and deeply. This tip work wonderfully.

4. Learn To Relax

Learning to relax also plays vital role in reducing panic attacks. You can learn self-hypnosis or meditation. Progressive relaxation techniques, some yoga postures (like corpse pose) and bio-feedback will definitely help you over come panic attacks.

5. Change Life-Style

Lifestyle changes are compulsory. You have to avoid foods and beverages which aggravate anxiety and panic attacks. For example, don't take sugary carbs, alcohol, tea and coffee.

And finally, follow these tips strictly. Then you can eliminate your panic attacks and remain peaceful!
